The Course

You will find this spectacular 9-hole course lined with 50-year-old plus gums and other native plants and trees making the course very tight. The use of lakes on three of the holes and the good placement of bunkers guarding the holes will ensure each shot selection be made with much thought. The greens are regarded as some of the very best in the area for a public golf course, with 6 of the greens being part of the old Southern Golf Club course.

Play Golf

Currently the Club has a permanent Tee Bookings for 18 Holes, which are played on Saturday mornings from 8.30 am and players are requested to register by 8.00am.

Many Club players are also playing mid-week mainly in the mornings via the Spring Park Golf Course Online Booking system.

To ensure all players mix in together, we draw a number for your position in the field each week. This ensures everyone plays with different people each week. The Club plays in the VGL Handicap and Senior Pennant during the year. Also, the VGL has introduced Mixed Pennant as well from 2024. There are multiple VGL Events for both Women and Men that are also played throughout the calendar year.
